Eva - Eva (2023)

Taken from tapes discovered in the closet of a coal miner's company house in Cape Breton Island, "Eva" is as mysterious as it is magical. Little is known about the origins of the recordings aside from the message, "Eva do you hear me - 1974" written on the label of the 10" tape reel. For years Eva haunted me - calling out to me to set her free. It is not by sense of privilege nor sense of duty that I finally decided to open freely the door to her cage, it is by utter possession.
